Flashpoint is a dramatic action series that depicts the emotional journey into the tough, risk-filled lives of a group of cops in the Strategic Response Unit (SRU). It's a unique unit that rescues hostages, busts gangs, defuses bombs, climbs the sides of buildings and talks down suicidal teens. Members of a highly-skilled tactical team, they're also trained in negotiating, profiling and getting inside the suspect's head to diffuse situations and save lives.
Although it's been
available in the USA from CBS DVD since last May, Canadians have yet to get a release of
Flashpoint - Season 3. Now the team at Phase 4 Films have announced a north-of-the-border set that's scheduled for
May 22nd. No Blu-ray version was mentioned; this is only for DVD format. Cost is CA$64.99 SRP, and specs show an anamorphic widescreen video format, English 5.1 Surround Sound audio, and closed captioning. Package art isn't finalized yet, but stay tuned!
