In mid-December we
passed along word from the Facebook fan page of CBS Home Entertainment that
The Lucy Show - The Official 4th Season would be available on
April 26th. The studio still hasn't officially announced that title to the press or to retailers yet, but roughly two hours ago today the studio's Facebook page was
updated with front cover art for the upcoming 4-DVD set. We've got a look at that for you below.
As you can see, the collection will come with 26 restored episodes (which ought to include guest appearances with Harvey Korman, baseball player Jimmy Piersall, Mel Tormé, Joan Blondell, William Frawley, Danny Thomas, Clint Walker, Milton Berle, Wayne Newton, Jaime Farr, Art Linkletter, Mickey Rooney, Kirk Douglas, Edward G. Robinson, Dean Martin, Bob Crane and
Hogan's Heroes co-star John Banner, Jay North, Robert Stack and more! Plus the bottom of the box mentions extras consisting of "
Cast Biographies, Production Notes, Photo Galleries and Much More!." Stay tuned for updates, when they become available!
